Frodsham & District Photographic Society: ‘Navigating your Inner Voice in Photography’ with Frances Marshall

Frodsham & District Photographic Society invites you to join internationally recognised photographer Frances Marshall to explore the personal, emotional, and intuitive dimensions of image‑making in this inspiring talk.

Frances will reveal how listening to your inner dialogue can shape your photographic style, deepen your connection to subjects, and help you move beyond technical mastery into authentic visual storytelling. Whether you’re a seasoned photographer or just starting out, this session will encourage you to reflect on your creative journey and find confidence in your unique perspective.

Frances Marshall is a classical music and opera photographer who has been working in the industry predominantly in the UK, Europe and the U.S. Her clients include some of the world’s greatest classical musicians and arts organisations.

Her MA in Musicology and background as a performer and educator inform her intuitive approach to capturing the energy and drama of classical music and opera.

Frances says that working in this world for 20 years she’s been doing her utmost to stay true to what matters to her and her clients while also using her work to fight for social justice in unexpected places.

As a fine art photographer and through her exhibition work, Frances has been awarded the Portrait of Britain, semi-finalist at Head On Festival Sydney, and shortlisted for the Royal Photographic Society International Exhibition, Helsinki Photo Festival and Taylor Wessing Award.

Tickets for the talk cost £5 and are available online from https://Frodsham.eventbrite.co.uk
