Frodsham & District Photographic Society: Mapping Moments, with Trevor Cole

Frodsham & District Photographic Society invites you to join award-winning travel photographer Trevor Cole online on 12 January as he blends travel and photography to reveal cultures, landscapes and sustainable stories from Donegal to Ethiopia.

Trevor transforms everyday scenes into unforgettable visual stories. Based in Donegal but shaped by years teaching geography across Singapore, Togo, Italy, Ethiopia and Brazil, he brings a geographer’s eye to every frame.

In this talk, Trevor explores how culture, landscape and sustainability intertwine—from the shifting sands of desert villages to the verdant coastlines of Ireland—showing how attentive observation and light can turn the ordinary into the extraordinary.

He’ll share his creative process for framing context and emotion, drawing on the Thoreau insight, “It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see.” Prepare to see the world anew and inspire your own photographic journey.

Tickets for the talk cost £5 and are available online from https://Frodsham.eventbrite.co.uk
