Tonight, Chorley PS won the North Cheshire Photographic Society Print Challenge in a battle with sixteen other clubs. Will Stead – President of Chorley – said, “A great night and another amazing win for the members of Chorley PS. Thanks to Jane (Lines – Chorley’s External Competition Secretary) for all her hard work in sorting the entries. Looking forward to tonight and the PDI knockout.” Jane Lines remarked “Don’t hold your breath ………it’s another clubs time to shine!!!”
Rob Hockney – President of North Cheshire Photographic Society commented: “From our viewpoint the evening was a great success. Everything ran smoothly; L&CPU President Garth Tighe opened the NCPS Exhibition for us and we had an audience in excess of 100 people to witness 17 clubs compete in the North Cheshire Challenge Print competition.
Chorley ran out worthy winners having done their homework on the likes and dislikes of judge Peter Gennard. Crewe took second place due in no small part to having Ian Whiston’s print of cheetahs take the award for Best Print.
We were pleased to continue the tradition for this competition of having printed copies of the results for all clubs to take away with them at the end of the evening. We follow it up this evening with the ever popular PDI Digital Knockout when we have 20-odd Clubs competing.”
