Photography enthusiasts are invited to experience one of the North West’s largest and most prestigious photographic exhibitions as Lytham St Annes Photographic Society (LSAPS) presents Photoshow 2026 this August.
Held at The Drive Methodist Church, East Bank Road, St Annes (FY8 1LH), the exhibition runs from Saturday 1st August to Saturday 15th August 2026 (closed Sundays), offering visitors a unique opportunity to enjoy hundreds of outstanding images created by talented photographers.
First established in 1950, just two years after the society was founded, Photoshow has become an annual highlight in the photographic calendar. Apart from an interruption during the Covid period, the exhibition has taken place every year since, building a proud tradition of showcasing the creativity and skill of LSAPS members.
Visitors to Photoshow 2026 can expect to see around 300 prints and 300 projected digital images, none of which have featured in previous Photoshows. The exhibition celebrates a wide variety of photographic styles and subjects, including:
- Colour photography
- Monochrome images
- Nature photography
- People and portraiture
- Scenic landscapes
The exhibition also forms a major photographic competition, with entries judged independently across both the Prints and Projected Digital Images (PDI) sections. Award-winning photographs will be highlighted during the show, giving visitors the chance to see some of the very best work produced by the society’s members.
Whether you are an experienced photographer, a keen amateur, or simply someone who appreciates beautiful images, Photoshow 2026 promises a fascinating and inspiring visit.
Admission is free, and everyone is welcome.
