Frodsham & District Photographic Society invites you to join them on 11 November to delve into the world of accomplished wildlife photographer Kevin Pigney ARPS, DPAGB, ASINWP .
Kevin Pigney lives on the Suffolk/Cambridgeshire border, an area teeming with wildlife. His approach involves more than just clicking a shutter. He practices fieldcraft – observing and understanding his subjects – while exercising immense patience. Waiting for the perfect shot often pays off, resulting in captivating images.
Kevin seeks out clean, out-of-focus backgrounds that enhance the subject. Negative space becomes a canvas for the wildlife to shine. He deliberately restricts his colour palette, allowing the subject to take centre stage.
Kevin will showcase some of his favourite images and share the story behind them including locations, camera settings, how I set up a project, fieldcraft, camera techniques and working with natural light.
Tickets, price £5 are available from: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/passion-for-wildlife-with-kevin-pigney-tickets-958077925867
