Annual Club Print & Projected Image Competition 20th & 27th March 2021 – Results.

Following the conclusion of this year’s Annual Print and PDI Club Competitions, the L&CPU are pleased to confirm the final combined club scores and section winners for 2021.

To the overall winners and recipients of the French Cup for this year – CHORLEY PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY!

COMPETITION SUMMARY

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s competition was run ‘virtually’ over two weekends via ZOOM.

The PDI competition was run first, on the 20th March with over 900 images from 43 clubs submitted.

The PRINT competition, held the following week on the 27th March, with 297 images from 14 clubs.

The judges for both weekends were:

Gwen Charnock FRPS, MFIAP, Hon LCPU and Phil Charnock FRPS, MFIAP, Hon LCPU.

All PDI and PRINT images were pre-scored by Gwen & Phil with no results being revealed until during the corresponding Zoom meeting.

INDIVIDUAL SECTION WINNERS

Open PDI – Greenall Rose Bowl: OLDHAM PS, with 278 points

Nature PDI – Birkenhead Centenary Tray:

Joint First Place CHORLEY PS and POULTON-LE-FYLDE PS, with 142 points

Colour Print – Appleby Cup: CHORLEY PS, with 148 points

Mono Print – Tansley Memorial Shield: CHORLEY PS, with 137 points

Nature Print – Crowther Cox Cup: CHAPEL CC, with 140 points
