The Bob Robinson Trophy 2022 – Results

This year was a little different, in that the competition was run in conjunction with The Big Day – the first Big Day the L&CPU had run for some time; so, we didn’t have speakers as we have had in previous years.

As you may be aware this event is designed to promote competitions and distinctions to club members who might not normally get involved in the federation annual club competition or club knockout competition.

The event is open to all clubs but only club members who currently do not have any photographic qualifications or accreditations are eligible to enter the competition.

The competition is a print competition however, all entries are A4 unmounted prints within two categories:

• Open Colour

• Open Mono

The Club with a full entry in both categories and the highest score wins the Club award. There are also individual awards, based on the scores and judges’ choice.

The entry was slightly down on previous years, with a total of 210 images (colour and mono); mono prints were judged in the morning, once judging was finalized and the awards entered into the system the doors were opened for viewing. The afternoon saw the colour prints going through the same process.
