
Frodsham & District Photographic Society invites you to join them on Zoom to Monday 31 March to learn how Mike Sharples ARPS, MPAGB, MFIAP conceives and composes his evocative portrait images.
Mike is an accomplished photographer who enjoys the complete spectrum of photographic subjects including landscape, environmental portraits, sport, and natural history. But in this talk, he will be showing us some of his successful portrait images and sharing his and sharing his techniques for using compositing techniques to achieve his excellent results.
Mike has been a member of Smethwick Photographic Society for 35 years, many of them spent on the Club’s Committee and he has served as its President, being also a member of the Executive of the Midland Counties Photographic Federation. He has over the years been involved in organising and taking part in both the clubs and wider Federation activities.
Mike enjoys judging and lecturing, being involved in judging competitions at local, regional, national and international levels and being a panel member for the PAGB APMs as well as presenting lectures to clubs across the UK. He is a Permajet Lecturer.
