Frodsham & District Photographic Society invites you to join us on Zoom on Monday, March 10, to discover how to capture and evoke emotions in your photos as Astrid McGechan shares her creative process, techniques, and stunning images.
Astrid, a talented photographer based in Surrey, firmly believes that photography and emotion are inseparable companions. Just as any other art form, photography has the power to evoke feelings, memories, and connections. But how does one intentionally capture or evoke emotions in their photographs? And how can we gauge whether we’ve succeeded in doing so?
Astrid uses a variety of techniques to capture her response to a scene and recreate it for the viewer through her photographs, such as long exposure, camera movement and deliberate defocusing.
In her inspiring talk, Astrid takes us on a light-hearted journey through her creative process.
Tickets for the talk cost £5 and are available online from https://Frodsham.eventbrite.co.uk
