We hope that some of the L&CPU members would be interested in taking part in this year’s Buxton Photo Challenge. This event is organised by High Peak Photography Club each year and participants are challenged to take 6 photos on 6 themes in 6 hours in the beautiful town of Buxton. The themes are announced on the day and photos have to be taken in the right order, which is the most challenging bit!
The event this year is to be held on Saturday July 20th and entrants can register between 10 and 11am at The Green Man Gallery, Hardwick Square, Buxton SK17 8PY. The entry charge for adults is £5 and under 18’s £3.50, payable on the door, and there are prizes for the best photo of each theme.
Buxton Photo Challenge is part of the Buxton Festival Fringe 2024, so there are many other events taking place during the next couple of weeks, making Buxton well worth a visit.
