As you will recall, the Federation is hosting a members’ tabletop sale of used equipment to run alongside the Bob Robinson Trophy competition at Chorley PS on Sunday 13th October. Anyone, or better, any club, wishing to sell any photographic equipment including photographic books, paper and other peripherals can now do so.
Sellers’ Tickets to hire a table for the day are now available on the portal for £10 each.
Please note that you will not be allowed to sell equipment if you or your club have not purchased a table ticket.
There will be approximately 20 tables available on a first come first served basis. There will be no charge to potential purchases. The Federation will produce in advance a catalogue of more expensive items for sale so if you would like to turn that unused camera body or prime lens into hard cash and are asking more than £100 please inform the President and he’ll add it to the catalogue so that potential buyers know of big ticket items for sale in advance and can prepare their wallets appropriately.
The Federation will have no involvement whatsoever in the actual sale of goods or transfer of payment and both will be the sole responsibility of the seller and buyer.
Unless you are a very unusual photographer you are likely to have a load of stuff that you no longer use and or stuff that you would really like. This is your opportunity to buy/sell to reputable colleagues within the Federation rather than some Joe on eBay and we’re confident it will prove to be a great opportunity for you all.
